The polls are open! The polls are open!

Just a quick shout-out to all my friends, family and loyal ShazzerSpeak readership in the Hoosier State to remind them to grab their government-issued ID and “get thee to the polls” today to cast a vote that might actually have some impact for a change.
This marks the first time in my adult life that the presidential nominees haven’t already been determined by the Indiana primary, making the trip to the polls pretty much just an excuse to slip out of the office early on a spring afternoon. NOT THIS TIME!
There are very few days that I regret relocating from my home state to Sweden, but May 6, 2008, will go down in history as one of them.
