Please pardon the post diarrhea

This is a special message to the 3 or 4 people I haven't completely driven away from this blog in the last couple days. My absentmindedness, combined with a recent server upgrade at Twitter, resulted in a never-ending auto-posting loop that took awhile to straighten out.

For the geeks among you who are interested in the details, I've been using a service called TwitterFeed to update my Twitter timeline whenever I post a new entry here on ShazzerSpeak. Unfortunately, I forgot that I was importing my "tweets" to my tumblelog, which as of Monday is being mirrored here.  This mirroring means that every time a new entry turns up on my tumblelog...including the tweets generated by THIS blog via TwitterFeed...it gets posted here. Do you see where this is going?

Once I realized what was going on it was a pretty easy fix.  But who knows how many readers I pissed off in the meantime.  What I can't figure out, though, is why my stats have doubled since the fiasco?
