"Fierce advocate" my @$$

Gay rights advocates in the US were already getting impatient with the Obama Administration's lack of action on their issues, but even the New York Times thinks the recent DOJ brief defending DOMA was the equivalent of taking a big dump on gay citizens.

Now a lot of high-profile gays who were scheduled to attend a DNC fundraiser co-hosted by the three openly gay members of Congress later this month are calling in with regrets. Maybe hitting Democrats in their pocketbooks will finally get their attention.
